Unlocking Samsung Omnia
If you have been unlucky enough to get a Samsung Omnia that is carrier locked, this is the way to unlock it for free! Samsung Omnia
This has been confirmed now and will be stickied! Please continue to brainstorm ideas for members who are having trouble! Samsung Cell Phone tips & tricks
1) Download attached ZIP file
2) Copy all three .lnk files to your Samsung Omnia.
3) Open a registry editor and go to HKCU\System\State\PHONE, and write down the first 6 digits of IMSI entry (eg 505021 “Optus Australia”
4) Run Lock.ink
5) Enter the 6 digits you wrote down from above in the MCC/MNC section
6) As NCK, enter 12345678
7) Tap OK (it should tell that SIMLock enabled)
Run Status.lnk to see if its locked
9) Run Unlock.lnk
10) Enter code entered in point 6 (12345678)
11) You’re Unlocked!
Try this method too…
1. Type *7465625*638*# to set
2. Type the code from the registry as above into the MCC/MNC section
3. Type your new NCK (12345678), then OK
4. Type *#7465625# to check your lock
5. Type #7465625*638*# and type your NCK (12345678)
