0 Comments As of today, Samsung has released a firmware update for the Samsung Galaxy GT-I7500.
This is, sadly, not the update to Donut. However, it does include “switchers” which allow you to turn off and on Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS from the programs menu. Also along for the ride are improved device stability and battery performance. Samsung Cell Phone news

According to Sprint, the Samsung Instinct is one of the carrier’s most popular handsets ever – having broken a variety of sales records shortly after its release. With all those Instincts floating around out there, it stands to reason that a fair number of BGR readers are packing this sexy little handset and today we’ve got some good news for you. For Your Information: I called Verizon Wireless and verified. The new update is called BK14 and it is coming out on Dec. 30th 2008, it hasn’t hit stores yet. Verizon Wireless states that it will be in stores in two weeks.
That was my fourth call to Verizon about this update. Do not be doubtful of me when I simply stated what Verizon told me. Enjoy!!!!

So we’ve got an update to the Samsung Propel, have we? More or less, yes, this is as we’re told, the Samsung Propel Pro and it brings pro-level features with it. Samsung Singapore just made its first ROM update for the SGH-i900 Omnia Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional smartphone available which can now be downloaded from the web.
This self-service ROM update (no more service center returns) should include new functionalities like new widgets for Samsung’s custom Today screen and a brand-new Hanyu Pinyin text input method for typing in Chinese characters as well as several bug fixes. Other changes and enhancements are unknown yet because Samsung doesn’t published a detailed change-log.
