My Samsung glyde sucks. And its getting worse… the battery doesnt last as long and the touch screen sucks! i cant even answer calls or reply to text messages because its so bad. I have tried the tape and battery thing and that doesnt work and i have the new software update and that didnt help either. The sensitivity is also on high! Its so frustrating! I miss so many calls becuase of it. Also when i am talking to somebody on the Samsung glyde it will just randomly hang up. Samsung Glyde

THAT is very annoying. Also when i am talking on the phone and i get a text message, it hangs up too. I am VERY dissapointed with the Samsung glyde. And i cant stand it any more. Do you know if i can go into the store and have them give me a new different phone? I dont want another Samsung glyde becuase i just dont want to keep going through the same things… I just want a phone that works!

Q: I have a samsung blast and a laptop running xp. I was just wondering two things. #1, is there any way to transfer music wirelessly because it did not come with a USB cable, and #2 are there any cool things to do with it such as change the apperance or what not.

A: If both the computer and phone have bluetooth you should be able to transfer the music and whatever else that way. also you might want to invest in a data cable. there are links on this site to places that sell them cheap. as far as changing the phones theme you should be able to just by going to google and typing in samsung blast themes.

Samsung Glyde – load pics from SD card?

I got my Samsung Glyde a few weeks back and it’s been alright so far. The touch screen could be better as i’m sure everyone knows. I’m definitely going to keep it and hope for some updates very soon.

But anyways I had a question about pictures. I used to have a motorolla razr and I bought an SD card to store my pictures on so i could put them on my Samsung glyde. I figured out how to save them onto my SD card but when I went to load them on my glyde, they wont show up. I know for a fact they are on the SD card because the show up on my computer but for some reason they wont load onto the Samsung glyde.

Now I know that the pictures need to be in a certain folder on the memory card. I think its called my_pix.
there should be three folders:
MY_PIX
MY_FLIX
MY_MUSIC

The pictures MUST be located in the My_Pix folder in the memory card. Otherwise, the phone will not recognize or find the photos.

The reason that my Motorola RAZR was able to find the pictures (but not the Samsung Glyde) is simple. Most early Motorola’s would search the entire memory card for media such as pictures, video, or sounds. Therefore, you could dump a picture anywhere on the memory card and the phone would find it. This was really nice because you could use Windows Media Player or any other software to put music on the card, without worrying about the songs’ placements in the file system.

Too bad Verizon decided to create stupid My_Pix, Flix, and Music folders. Now everything must be sorted in their appropriate folders. The inefficiency of this bothers me, but the cheesy spelling of “pix” and “flix” bothers me even more.

Samsung Glyde – Bluetooth Problem

I got the Samsung Glyde a week ago, now I have a little disappointed with the bluetooth features between PC and the Samsung Glyde. It doesn’t allow to transfer anything but the outlook contacts, but I can connect to it as a handsfree.

Something Samsung might upgrade or add later? My wife’s LG Dare allows me to transfer contacts, pics, and etc via bluetooth with my PC. I really don’t like opening the battery cover to take out the micro sd card. It’s so hard to take off the back cover and I would really love to use bluetooth.

Recently I have some problems with my Samsung glyde, what my problem is when I am on different pages or categories w/e u want to call them I am sometimes having little lines run through the Samsung glyde phone like they are glitches, is any one else having problems with lines running through the screen when doing something??

Well actually when i brought it in i just told the Verizon Tech whats wrong and they just went to the back and gave me a brand new one. so im guessin other people were also havin problems with theirs since she didnt seemed to confused about what i said was wrong with mine.
