The Samsung Pixon was announced as the 8-megapixel phone, looks like it could become the most advanced camera phone on the market. The Samsung Pixon is wonderfully easy to capture and it’s designed from the ground up to be the best camera phone on the market. The Samsung Pixon will be available in October 2008.
The Samsung Pixon is just 13.8mm thin and the front is dominated by a huge 3.2″ screen that can display 262,000 colours (16 million would have been better, but hey, you can’t have everything!)

In the case, it is 3.2” (3” for LG Renoir, 3.5” for iPhone), with a 240×400 (WQVGA) resolution standard for a wide screen and support of only 262k colors. The Samsung Pixon equipped the Pixon with GPS, a fantastic screen, DivX support, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, an upgraded version of their TouchWiz touchscreen user interface, and more camera wizzardry than you knew existed.
