I had the phone already on my account however once I did this trick I was able to utilize the Sprint Software to pull all my contacts from outlook and put them on the Website.
Method 2 Update 6/22/08:
a) If above still is not working and all of your contacts are on the site but your phone keeps saying "Still registering", Goto settings on your phone and goto RESET => RESET PHONE, this will default your phone and when it restarts it will try to Mobile Sync again and should work now.
b) Users have also reported that if you login to the website and DISABLE mobile sync, and also disable it on the Phone, then re-enable it, the contacts will sync. This will not require a full Phone Reset using this way.
I had to do this Method 1 and Method 2 to get all my contacts Working.
Also make sure when you login to sprint.com and goto mobile sync you are hitting ENABLE.
What sprint has said is the issues so far:
- The servers are being taxed just try again later
- Try Resetting your Phone
- Pretty much useless except just wait? blah!
