Samsung Instinct – "Locked" screen suggestion
I haven’t used many cell-phones (the Samsung Instinct is my 3rd in 7 years). However one thing I would appreciate is that if the “locked” screen could show the signal strength & battery indicator.

The reason this would be helpful to me is that many times I’m not sure if I’m in an area that has good signal strength (which in turn will consume the battery quickly). Being able to quickly pull out the Samsung Instinct and press the lock button to see this status will allow me to see if I should simply turn the phone off to save battery or move to another location with better strength if I’m waiting for a call.
This is something previous phones would let me easily check on without too much fuss. As it stands, I need to unlock the phone only to lock it again in 1 sec.
