Samsung Behold – GPS mapping freeware

The program is a little laggy but it picks up relative GPS location right away and then fine tunes in about a minute. It has voice guidance with nice mapping and some cool visuals like 3D navigation. Samsung Cell Phone software

I personally think it’s one of the best GPS mapping freeware out there. Now it works for my Samsung behold in high quality mode just perfect and I don’t think there should be any problems with the eternity. Samsung T919 Behold

Just for referance us Samsung behold owners have to hack it using TKFile.exe and manually load the .jar and .jad files. From wath I read about the eternity there are no restrictions by at&t for you to have to do this so you can just download to phone from http://www.amazegps.com/index.php?p…en&referrer=697.

Good luck, there seems to be an eternity specific build there so enjoy and leave feedback. In my opinion it’s better than the crappy telenav installed on the Samsung behold and better than MGMaps (http://wap.mgmaps.com/14/index-all.html). Although I have read at&t navigator was pretty good so it might be a step down for you guys though.

I’ve been looking at the Samsung Behold all day today since i found out about it this morning
2 things that bothers me.
#1 no wifi, whats up with that ?? what phone these days dont have wifi especially a phone this advanced.
#2 no windows mobile, this is the copy of the another model that was released overseas that originally has WM.

If you haven’t noticed, touch-screen phones are in, and it seems as if every carrier and manufacturer are rushing to jump on the bandwagon. The latest entry is the new Samsung Behold comes to T-Mobile.

Also called the SGH-T919, the Samsung Behold resembles both the Samsung Omnia and the LG Dare with a little bit of the Samsung Instinct thrown in. It has an expansive touch-screen design while offering a music player, a 5-megapixel camera, and (most notably) support for T-Mobile’s growing 3G network. The result is an attractive, powerful phone with an easy-to-use TouchWiz interface. On the downside, it lacks Wi-Fi and the Web browser is a bit erratic, but the Samsung Behold is a compelling addition to T-Mobile lineup.

Today T-Mobile officially released the Samsung . The Samsung T919 Behold, used to be called Tocco for Europe Market. It has a large touchscreen display.

Samsung T919 Behold will have a 5MP camera,with auto focus and flash, 3G (1700 and 2100), Widgets, myFaves. No mention about WiFi. So far, we are expecting it by November 10th for about 149.99. No official information, so stay tuned for more information. There are rumors about the new Behold will be also available in pink.
