How to set the Samsung propel 3G be turned off: Samsung Propel

1. type in: *#6984125*#
2. go to the third one called network and call settings
3. select network mode
4. select one of the gsm bands, (suggest using gsm 850/900/1800/1900)
that should force your phone into using the 2g network

Some one have the tricks of saving text messages to phone instead of SIM card for Samsung Propel? my questioms is when I receive text messages, they are automatically saved onto my SIM card instead of on my Samsung Propel. I am able to manually switch each message to save on the phone, but is there an option so that all received messages are saved to the phone instead of the SIM card? Thanks in advance. Select Settings

Select Accessibility (8)
Set the System Font Size to either Normal or Large, using the navigation key
Press the left soft key for Done to save the System Font Size settings

You have to edit a contact, and add more fields. There is a field called “message tone”. Then go to special tone and it takes you to your tones folder and will let you put any ringtone that you have in that folder as a message tone.
