I am fond of my newly brought Samsung M8800 Pixon that is embedded with all high tech attributes which are not only fantastic but also user friendly. The 3G network handset weighs 121 grams and has the dimensions of 107.9 x 54.6 x 13.8 mm. The internal memory inherits 200MB along with MicroSD card that is expandable up to 16 GB. The 3.2 inches screen is capable of displaying beautiful 265K colours with 240×400 pixels screen resolution. The battery on fully charged condition yields stand by up to 280 hours and talk time 4 hours on fully charged condition. Another potent feature of the Samsung M8800 Pixon is its connectivity through advanced technologies like GPRS, Bluetooth, EDGE and USB. One can surf Internet with HTML and WAP2.0 browser and can also download music, videos etc.

The other applications include messaging, call record, phone book, organiser etc. Through messaging I can stay in touch with my friends through SMS, MMS and Emails at a reasonable rate. Samsung has launched a new mobile phone in the Indian market. This new product is the Samsung Pixon M8800 and it comes loaded with a 8 megapixel digital camera. Samsung Cell Phone news

This touch screen mobile phone has been priced competitively at Rs 28,750.

The camera feature comes with an in-built autofocus camera with features like face, blink, and smile detection, dual LED flash.

It also has an auto-panorama mode, 16x zoom option and an advanced shake reduction system designed to improve the photo quality.

Samsung Pixon M8800 also comes loaded with advanced image filters, assisted GPS with GEO tagging, 7.2 MBPS HSDPA, video shooting, FM radio, a multi-format music player and Bluetooth capability. The Samsung Pixon M8800 comes with 200 MB internal storage and it can be expanded with external cards.

Between Samsung M8800 Pixon and LG KP500 or the cookie mobile phones, it is Samsung M8800 Pixon that takes the cake in the race. Both mobile phones have Fm radio equipped with RDS, v2.1 Bluetooth technology, a WAP/HTML browser, an organizer application, document viewer feature and a 2.0 USB. Samsung M8800 Pixon has an accelerometer sensor and LG KP500 has a user interface that is based on the flash mode along with very sophisticated handwriting recognition software.

In both handsets, you have a 3-inch screen that 256K-colour display. Besides this, the resolution is the same 240 x 400 pixels and the screen is a TFT type screen and touch type. Polyphonic ring tones are available, though in LG KP500 you also access nearly 64 channels of your choice. These polyphonic ring tones are supported only in the MP3 format.

Samsung M8800 Pixon has an additional TV out functionality and 200 MB of internal memory. LG KP500 has 48 MB internal memory. Both mobile phones have about three and a half hours of talk time.

After the announcement of the Samsung Behold, Samsung and T-Mobile released the Samsung Pixon in the US as the Samsung Leica. The Samsung Leica is also known by another moniker: the Samsung M8800 Pixon. The battery listed for the Samsung T929 is also said to be the same one featured in the SCH-R800 Contact.

The Samsung Pixon was announced as the 8-megapixel phone, looks like it could become the most advanced camera phone on the market. The Samsung Pixon is wonderfully easy to capture and it’s designed from the ground up to be the best camera phone on the market. The Samsung Pixon will be available in October 2008.

The Samsung Pixon is just 13.8mm thin and the front is dominated by a huge 3.2″ screen that can display 262,000 colours (16 million would have been better, but hey, you can’t have everything!)
