Software Hard Reset:
On your Samsung Omnia, go to Settings/System/Hard Reset
Hard Reset options will appear on the screen for
a.Main Memory – Reset
b.My Storage – Reset
c.Storage Card – Format
A pop up will ask for confirmation & user is to enter “XXXX” to proceed.
i900 to use 1234
i910 to use last 4 digits of your mobile number
The phone resets, lingers on the samsung logo for a bit then the familiar Windows mobile device start up screen, which takes you through the start up process if you tap the screen to set up…
You may have seen this when booting up your phone initially

1. Transfer the .jad and .jar files to the Samsung U600′s memory to the ‘Other Files’ folder.
You can transfer the files from Samsung PC Studio’s ‘Phone Explorer’, or just transfer it straight to the memory card and move it to ‘Other Files’ from the Samsung U600 phone’s menu.
If you don’t have a .jad file, you can download ‘Jad Maker’ (google) and make a new one.

Every time I try and click the samsung instinct’s movie button under the web button an error sign comes up. THIS IS THE TEMP UNLOCK CODE FOR A SAMSUNG PHONE
Do this at your own risk:

Instructions:

Press *#06# and write down your IMEI

Unlock Codes
Code 1: *2767*688 then your IMEI and then press #

For example *2767*688352708000828246# (Everything before the / for C225)

Code 2: *0141#

Code 3: 00000000 (8 zero’s)

Entering the Codes:
1. Switch your Samsung phone off. Remove the original SIM card

2. Insert another SIM card from an alternative network. Power up your Samsung phone. You should now see the “Wrong Card” message.

3. Type Code 1 into your Samsung phone, if this is entered correctly your phone screen should now turn black and reboot itself. (C225 doesn’t go black but does reboot)

4. After the phone reboots the SIM card will be recognized and your SIM will work. Be patient while your phone reboots and DO NOT press any keys. At this point the phone is “Temporarily” unlocked.

5. Now at your idle screen type in Code 2 (*0141#) and hit the call button. This should give you a message saying the phone is “Personalized”.

6. Power off the Samsung  phone and insert the original SIM, then power up.

7. At the SIM code prompt, it will ask you to enter a password. At this stage enter Code 3.

8. After entering hit “OK” and your phone should complete initialization.’
