Young people will love what we are about to say! We’ve got great news coming from Samsung. The manufacturer announced a new, affordable model featuring touch sensitive screen earlier this week – the Samsung Corby S3650 that is also expected to come in several, joyful colors. Information coming from IFA, an exhibition that is still ongoing, has it that Samsung is about to announce one other handset aimed at young people, the Samsung B3210. It will sport a full QWERTY keyboard, 2-megapixel camera, FM Radio and 3.5mm jack to plug in your favorite headphone pair. The Samsung B3210 will run a shortcut-rich interface that will also feature native support for various chat clients and social networks and we can see in the pictures that Facebook functionality is on the list. A tipster of ours has informed us of the existence of two new Samsung devices for Sprint that we currently know nothing about – the "heroic" Samsung Intrepid and the… "momentous" Samsung Moment. Our source says these guys have appeared in Sprint’s rebate sheet, being described as smartphones, both with $100 mail-in rebate to them. We hope that more details will come out very soon and when they do, you’ll be the first to know. Thanks, anonymous tipster!

We reported last week that the Samsung Intensity U450 and Rogue U960 were both set to launch simultaneously by Verizon on September 8th. Well surprise, the Samsung Intensity U450 in Gray is now listed for sale (see the update below) via the Verizon Wireless web site with a price of $29.99 after $50 rebate with a 2-year contract and is also Buy 1 Get 1 Free. (No sign of the Samsung Intensity in Red.) The Samsung Intensity U450 could be considered the little brother of the Rogue, since both offer sliding a QWERTY keyboard, but the Samsung Intensity is lacking the really cool stuff, like a touch-sensitive AMOLED display. Other features of the device include a 1.3MP camera, 2.1" diagonal 176×220 pixel TFT display, 2.5mm headset jack, can use microSDHC cards up to 16GB, and supports VCast Music, VZ Navigator and Mobile Web.
