Samsung’s partnership with fashion designer Armani continues with the appearance of the rumored Armani W820/8200. The gold-trimmed slider features a 3.1-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, HSDPA, T-DMB, Bluetooth, 5 megapixel primary camera and a secondary front facing camera for video calling. The phone will reportedly launch in Korea some time in the near future, though timing and pricing are both unknown for the time being. We’re sure pricing will be nice and elevated but truth be told, this could be a sweet little phone. Let’s hope Samsung issues a version without the gold trim — you know, for those of us with self respect. Samsung Cell Phone news

Tired of the flurry of Samsung announcements yet? Hmm? Of course you aren’t, so here’s another one to keep you fed, fat, and happy: the Samsung M240 flip is now available on Sprint. Samsungs without names are typically extraordinarily low-end, and the Samsung M240′s no exception — the company flat-out describes it as a "no nonsense device focusing on the basics" with a non-EV-DO radio, voice dialing, speakerphone, basic (and we do mean basic) web access, and support for up to 500 contacts. It runs a cool $19.99 on contract after instant discount — in other words, roughly 10 percent of the functionality of a BlackBerry Tour for 10 percent of the price. Samsung Cell Phone news
